What your contribution funds
- ⅓ Treasury (CASH): servers, electricity, operating reserves.
- ⅓ R&D (Ğ1FabLab): improving free code under AGPL-3.0.
- ⅓ Real assets (ASSETS): durable hardware, food forests, experimentation places.
This 3×1/3 rule is written into the cooperative's statutes. The station Captain also receives a 1% management bonus.

Frequently asked questions
Why Open Collective rather than a regular non-profit?
We are a de facto association, fiscally hosted by Open Collective: less paperwork, more transparency, because the books are public by design.
What if I can no longer contribute?
Nothing harsh. The Love Ledger principle is not to cut the service: the time and energy hosts give are publicly recognised.
Who decides how funds are used?
The 3×1/3 rule is written and public. Members of the CopyLaRadio cooperative take part in governance.
Which amount should I choose?
Whatever suits you: a small regular amount matters as much, over the project's life, as a large one-off gift. You choose on the Open Collective page.
